Water (WR)

UMP has conducted research relating to water resources for quite some time now. In the early years in 2009, this system is used to supply clean water to students living in hostels. In 2011, the water filter system (WASRA) was installed in the area of UMP Mosque that supplies water for ablution and nurseries. UMP has developed Rain Water Harvesting System at Bioarimatic Park in Luit for irrigation purpose at trial plot and to watering plants in Manufacturing Faculty. In Pekan Campus Groundwater System and used of lake water to watering plants has become one of initiatives to reducing university cost.
