UMPSA has commenced its carbon reduction initiative, using the year 2019 as the baseline for measurement. By 2023, audits were conducted on both campuses, marking a significant milestone. UMPSA's Pekan Campus successfully decreased its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 38.34% since 2019, equivalent to 4,705.16 tCO2/year across three elements.

While UMPSA’s Gambang Campus successfully decreased its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 20.66% since 2019, equivalent to 2,465.52 tCO2/year across three elements.
