In order to protect the environment, University Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) is committed in reducing UMPSA’s waste production by implementing effective waste management. All UMPSA’s employees, students and related parties have an important part to play in implementing this Policy. 

It is our policy to:

  •  Provide our employees, students and related parties with sufficient information and facilities in managing waste.
  •  Continually developing, reviewing and implementing a comprehensive waste management strategy to drive continuous improvements.
  •  Engaging with students in reducing generation of waste, whilst increasing recycling effort.
  •  Comply with all relevant legislation and regulation in the conduct of the operation.
